A quiet inbox on your Mac for events and to-dos pushed by scripts, automations and AI agents.

WDD Inbox is a calm, local-first inbox for your Mac. Anything that can write a file, run a command, or make an HTTP call can leave you an event or a to-do — and it lands in one place, organized by project, instead of dissolving into a notification banner or a log file you'll never read.
Built for the age of automation: cron jobs, shell scripts, shortcuts, and AI agents all produce things you need to see. WDD Inbox gives them somewhere quiet to put them.
~/Library/Application Support/WDD/push/ by default, configurable in Settings). WDD Inbox picks it up automatically; any process may write there, and event files are never modified once written.wdd CLI, installed to /usr/local/bin on first launch:wdd push --project ops --level action_needed --type todo \

POST http://127.0.0.1:1933/events with a JSON body. Perfect for AI agents and other apps on the same machine; query wdd status for the effective port instead of hardcoding it.Manual entries work too: hit New in the app to add an event or to-do by hand. Hand-written entries are categorized as their own project (wdd-manual), so you can always tell your own notes apart from the machines'.
Everything stays on your Mac. There are no accounts, no sync, no analytics and no server in the middle — the HTTP listener binds to localhost only. If your Mac is offline, everything still works.
WDD Inbox is available on the Mac App Store. Events you've been missing have a home now.
